Defective Item Returns
If you receive a defective item from Athena Liquor Store, please promptly contact us at shoponline@athenaliquor.com. Kindly include your order details and a description of the defect in your communication.
Upon receipt of your notification, we will guide you through the process to determine your eligibility for a refund or exchange. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you via email within a reasonable timeframe regarding the status of your refund or replacement. Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method.
Policy on Older Wines
It’s important to note that purchasing older wines carries inherent risks. While we take every precaution to store wines properly, some may develop defects over time. Therefore, we regret that we cannot accept returns for wines older than five years and valued over $100, unless the producer agrees to a replacement.
Shipping and Handling
Please be aware that shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping, which must be prepaid and insured. Athena Liquor Store is not liable for any loss or damage incurred during the return shipment.
